The Jeffery Family

In 1984, we had a son named Shawn. John at age 4 on the left, Shawn at age 4 on the right. They look alike, don't they?

Here is a picture of John holding Shawn when he was about 2 months old and one of me holding Shaleen when she was 2 months old. We had Shaleen in 1985, and she was 3 months premature.

When John and I got married, Pam and Shannon lived in Florida. Shortly after our first anniversary, they moved back to Iowa. We got to visit Shannon quite often after that, and we eventually had custody of her for part of the time.

When we first got together, I had a daughter named Tricia who was 5 years old, and a son named Bud who was 18 months old. John became their new Dad, and he helped raise them while he was alive. So, then we were a family.

The next photos were taken at Shawn's 6th birthday party in January of 1990. It was the last birthday party for any of the kids that John was able to attend.

And here are some of the grandchildren who never got to meet their grandfather. Kyle and Kaitlyn were both born in 1997, Kyle is Shannon's son, who was born in January. Kaitlyn is Tricia's daughter, who was born in March. I think Grampa John would be proud of them both.

In 2007, John will have been gone for 17 years.  He never got to meet any of his grandchildren.  They are many, and they are all beautiful.  Photos below all taken in 2006.

Shannon has Kyle and Ashton both.  Kyle will be 10 in January 2007.  Ashton just turned 4 in October 2006.

Tricia has Kaitlyn and Christopher.  Shawn has Destiny, pictured above with Christopher.

Katy will be 10 in March 2007.  Christopher will be 7 in May 2007.

Bud has Cory, Brighton, and Alyssa.  (photos soon)

Shaleen has Draven who just turned 2 in October 2006.

I think John would have been proud of them all.  I know I am.
